Chop Shop 166 held our yearly off-season event Mayhem in Merrimack on September 14th from 8:30am to 5:00pm. 21 teams from across New England attended to compete. There were also multiple special guests who visited our school to watch us run the event and learn about FIRST. Some of the special guests included Congressman Chris Pappas, State Senator Shannon Chandley as well as multiple Merrimack State Representative including Wendy Thomas, Maureen Mooney, Bill Boyd, Nancy Murphy, and Rosemarie Rung.  

We have gotten a lot of positive feedback from the teams that attended. Everyone had a great time and loved the experience. The winning alliance was made up of the following teams: Nashoba Robotics 1768, CHAOS 131, 4H ALARM Robotics 2079,  perSEVERE 5962. 

All our Chop Shop members had worked extremely hard to make this event as great as possible and we can't wait to host this again next year. We have hosted this event for 20 years, and every year it gets more exciting to host as we grow as a team.
