Scholarship Info
Each year FIRST team members are eligible for scholarships awarded by FIRST sponsors. Merrimack High School staff and the Chop Shop mentors strongly urge all team members to apply for these scholarships. Please note the application dates on the available scholarships. Each scholarship has its own dates and criteria. Some of them are directed toward junior year students and others are directed to seniors.
So far, there are 90 colleges and universities, professional associations, and corporations from the U.S. and Canada providing 450 individual scolarship opportunities, valued at nearly $9 million, to FIRST high school students.

Each year the MHS FIRST Parent-Booster Group offers a $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior. This scholarship is renewable yearly for a total of $4000. All seniors are urged to apply through the MHS Guidance Department; guildines shown here (pdf).
