Electrical
The Electrical Team is responsible for all the electrical components in the robot.
They research and specify the controls needed and install them on the robot, and they must understand what each of the electrical components in the Kit of Parts (KoP) is, what it can be used for and how to apply that part to the solution. They will often interface with the design group to have the electrical components placed into the robot model. They also need to interface with the software team to ensure that the programming requirements of the control circuitry are met.
The Electrical team provides each of its members with practical knowledge of circuitry. They are essential to the building of the robot every year- after all, the robot needs power.
