Marketing

The Marketing Team is responsible for documenting the the team's accomplishments and presenting them to the judges in the Chairman's Award competition. They work hard to market the team as graciously professional.

FIRST recognizes both on-field performance and the attributes that help FIRST achieve its mission to change culture with the Chairman's Award. While a few awards are based solely on on-field performance, the majority of the awards deal with areas outside of the technical realm. The highest honor of all these awards is the Chairman's Award which recognizes the team that best accomplishes the FIRST mission to change the culture of the U.S. It is bestowed to one team at each regional competition, and the Chop Shop tries hard every year. The Chairman’s Award winner for the Championship event is selected from the regional Chairman’s Award winners.

Students who join the Marketing subteam develop their writing and analytical skills through the process of documenting the team's actions.
