Animation
The Animation Team is responsible for creating a thirty (30) second animation, including a script and storyboard, using state-of-the-art software (Autodesk 3DStudioMax). The storyboard and animation is then uploaded to the web site designated by Autodesk and judged by both their peers from other FIRST teams and by professional animators.
People who join animation do not need any prior experience animating. Mentors who have animated before come back and teach rookies how to animate.
Animation expands its members minds through spatial and geometric thinking. This subsection is best for technical people who enjoy art, for a creative video is made through a lot of math and computing.
